He arrived in Fremantle, Western Australia on the 'Palmerston' on the 11 February 1861. Recorded as being 'Writing Clerk' (able to read and write). Sent to Albany on the 28 March 1861. He died at the Convict-Hiring Depot (now part of the Residency Museum). Convict no. 5696. Characteristics: He was 5 feet 1¼ inches in height, brown hair, grey eyes, shallow complexion, with scar on forefinger of left hand. Single.
